Literary Translations
I am currently translating Exposure 《曝光》 (creative non-fiction) by 李嘉儀 Ka Yee Lee, supported by The 2025 Emerging Translator Mentorship with The American Literary Translators Association. PostMag has featured the project in an interview on translated/translating literature from Hong Kong.
Exposure is a hybrid long-form that blends memoir, travel writing, reading notes, and poetry. It spans places where the author has personal connections, ranging from Canada, Thailand, the United States, to British-colonial and post-handover Hong Kong. The book touches on personal and collective traumas, interrogating a sense of hope and clarity beyond the possibility of healing.
I also serve as one of the translation advisory board members of the other side of hope: journeys in refugee and immigrant literature.
